I’ll kick start this blog with an image from the latest project to enter my 4th year portfolio. The speculative short project [title: disrupting the horizon] examines specific conditions within the unstable topography of deforested areas of Kielder Forest, in an attempt to design a system with the capacity to interact with chaotic [but common] seismic events such as a landslide or a tree becoming uprooted. The interventions in question seek to re-interpret the movement of the dynamic ground in a network of spatiotemporal conditions.
